High School Of The Dead Wall

I took some magazine scans, cleaned them up and merged them together, and then added some subtle effects and brought out the colors more.

High School of the Dead is a Manga currently being serialized in Monthly Dragon Age Magazine in Japan. The story chronicles the survival of a group of Japanese High School students as they live through a worldwide zombie apocalypse. The character in the wallpaper is Busujima Saeko. President of the school's Kendo club and is formidable in hand to hand combat. She's calm, collected, intelligent and the most mature girl in the group. She's basically my favorite. And I'm glad I was able to find a good shot of her.

The comic was created by Daisuke Sato and Shouji Sato of the Doujin circle "Digital Accel Works" Who normally publish hentai/adult doujinshis (fan comics). I'm not sure what possessed them to tackle a horror manga, but they do a fantastic job. It's wildly popular in Japan and I pray that it gets picked up as an Anime.
